STUDIO PCH

Venice, CA

SÉVERINE TATANGELO, OWNER/ARCHITECT

French architect SĂ©verine Tatangelo founded Studio PCH in Venice, CA. The boutique firm is anchored by Tatangelo’s twenty years of experience in designing properties worldwide, with a focus on inviting, urbane high-end hospitality and residential spaces. She leads a diverse global staff with expertise in interior design and architecture. Projects include multiple Nobu properties, including Nobu Malibu, Nobu Santorini, and Nobu Hotel Los Cabos, and Universal Music Group Studios in Santa Monica, CA. “As a firm and as a team, we really care about our projects. I think we really have a good understanding of how to succeed together,” Tatangelo says.

NOBU MALIBU

In 2012, Studio PCH designed the oceanview Nobu Malibu restaurant. With spectacular views and seaside breezes, creating a seamless indoor/outdoor dining environment was essential. When the weather isn’t as accommodating and the breezes get a bit chilly, Infratech WD-Series flush mount heaters are available to keep guests comfortable. The design team found the heaters to be such a boon that they incorporated them into their next projects, including Nobu Newport Beach. “We stuck with the heaters for that project for the same reason as the Nobu Malibu: the design, we had a great experience, it becomes part of the environment.” Now a beloved and iconic part of the Malibu dining scene, Studio PCH’s design has been recognized by The Los Angeles Times, CondĂ© Nast Traveler, and Architectural Digest.

Studio PCH values Infratech’s quality customer service, as well as the heaters’ sleek style and ability to disappear into their designs.
