Now a worldwide phenomenon, legendary Japanese chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa launched his first Southern California dining establishment, Beverly Hills’ Matsuhisa in 1987. Today, a number of Nobu branded destinations call the area home, including Nobu Malibu, Nobu Newport Beach, and the Nobu Ryokan hotel.
