As the holidays arrive, outdoor living doesn’t have to move indoors. For interior designers Kelly Griffiths and Katie Kendrick, creating warm, inviting spaces for seasonal gatherings means designing outdoor areas that are just as comfortable and usable as the interiors they’re known for.

Celebrity designer, builder, and HGTV host Chip Wade has long relied on Infratech electric heat to bring comfort, usability, and design cohesion to his outdoor spaces. His latest work at Pinhoti Peak continues that relationship. The property’s main residence, a large alpine-inspired retreat in the North Georgia mountains, was completed first. The newest addition is The Perch, a series of elevated treehouse structures designed to expand the site into a multi-space hospitality destination.
