Outdoor Design Spotlight: Timberline Patio Covers

Timberline Patio Covers are outdoor living experts, having been in the business since the early ‘90s. Originally founded as specialists in Undercover Systems, an under deck drainage product, the company has spent the past decades learning about outdoor spaces, discovering innovative outdoor living products and refining their design approach. In 2016, Timberline Patio Covers launched a division specifically dedicated to building outdoor kitchens, roof structures, decks, fireplaces, fire pits, and other exciting features.

Outdoor Design Spotlight: Stout Design Build

  Founded in Los Angeles, CA in 2000, Tom Stout’s Stout Design Build is a start-to-finish landscaping and remodeling business. With a lifelong passion for the outdoors, Tom is dedicated to creating beautiful, sustainable projects. In 1996, he began designing and building landscapes, and has been building and renovating homes in Los Angeles since 2006. The Stout team specializes in the New SoCal Landscape, a fusion of form, function, and sustainability. Stout and his team have used Infratech heaters in a variety of homes in the Los Angeles area. Designer Spotlight: Fagin Partners and the Passive House

Fagin Partners is one of the leading designers in Dallas with a passion for creating sustainable and stylish modern homes. The designers, Kyle and Connor Fagin, are a talented father-and-son team who are building the first International Passive House in Texas to reach the next level of efficiency. Their mission is to construct homes that are mindful of the environment while still achieving a modern aesthetic and long-term affordability for homeowners. Project Spotlight: Meadow Creak Residence by Arcanum Architecture, Inc.

Located in Woodside, CA on a large hidden lot at the end of the road, Meadow Creak Residence stops at a creek and densely wooded hillside. The site has a rural feel as the property stretches from north to south, allowing the main spaces to embrace its views. This 9,800 square foot home is designed by Arcanum Architecture, Inc., a San Francisco based design firm with a portfolio of modern styled homes. We spoke with Arcanum’s architects about the details of Meadow Creek Residence and what they were looking to achieve with this design.

Project Spotlight: The Wave House by Mario Romano

The newly constructed “Wave House,” a 5,700 sq. ft. Venice home sitting on Morningside Way, is a true stunner. Featuring 6 rooms including an expansive outdoor space, it was built from the ground up, taking 17 months to complete. With its organic shape and white aluminum skin, it’s distinctively created by architect and designer, Mario Romano. We recently spoke with Romano about his inspiration behind his beautiful, unique, and intricate design.
