Pinhoti Peak: Elevated Outdoor Living in the North Georgia Mountains

Celebrity designer, builder, and HGTV host Chip Wade has long relied on Infratech electric heat to bring comfort, usability, and design cohesion to his outdoor spaces. His latest work at Pinhoti Peak continues that relationship. The property’s main residence, a large alpine-inspired retreat in the North Georgia mountains, was completed first. The newest addition is The Perch, a series of elevated treehouse structures designed to expand the site into a multi-space hospitality destination. For this next phase, Chip focused on creating outdoor environments that feel as polished and intentional as the interiors. Each structure features a blend of natural materials, modern lines, and thoughtful detailing. To maintain the same standard of comfort at every level of the property, Chip incorporated Infratech infrared heat throughout the new treehouses and gathering areas. The goal was to make the outdoor spaces usable in every season without interrupting the architecture or the surrounding views.

Because the treehouses each have different layouts, elevations, and exposure to the elements, Chip approached the outdoor planning with flexibility in mind. Infratech’s versatile design and mounting options made it easier to standardize comfort across these unique structures. The result is a property that feels cohesive from top to bottom, with outdoor spaces that function as natural extensions of the interiors.

With his unique properties, Chip’s approach stays consistent: create environments that look beautiful, work effortlessly, and allow people to enjoy the outdoors in any season. Infratech electric heat helps make that vision possible across all of his projects, including this one.
