The results are in! After reviewing an abundance of inspiring entries, we are excited to announce the 2021 Grand Prize winner of Infratech’s Outdoor Living Design Contest, Ryan Wither of Buildwell Builders!

The winning design is a 4,200 square foot residence in Boulder, Colorado, that sits on a steep hillside with stunning views of the Flatirons. The house, designed by Surround Architecture, features a spacious floor plan with large sliding doors that open, for a seamless engagement between indoor spaces and an outdoor deck and covered patio with pool on the lower floor.

Infratech heaters enhance the functionality of the home dramatically by allowing the outdoor spaces to be habitable even on the colder days and nights. For this project, Buildwell specified dual element CD-Series fixtures on the upstairs patio and flush-mounted WD-Series fixtures on the lower patio.
