Want a closer look at the 2022 Sunset Idea House? In this video, Burdge Architects take us on a partial guided tour of the transitional ranch-style family home they designed for a Malibu family who lost their original home in the 2018 Woolsey fire.
With an outdoor setting as lovely as Malibu, outdoor living is a key component of Burdge’s design. Jennifer Hopple, Burdge’s President, and Jeanette Tang, Burdge’s Director of Operations, give us a behind-the-scenes view of the outdoor dining area they built to look out over the surrounding countryside.
The patio features a passthrough window to the kitchen, a trellis, and ample seating for al fresco dinners. Burdge wall-mounted two dual-element, white CD-Series heaters with Mediterranean Motif fascias allow the homeowners to soak up the beauty of their property twelve months out of the year.
